His final time was not only the third fastest Sprint in history, but was Padua’s third Breeders’ Cup winner in five years, following champion Vindication in the Juvenile-G1 and Cash Run in the Juvenile Fillies-G1. CAJUN BEAT competed at the top of the game for four seasons, winning in addition to the sprint, the Kentucky Cup Sprint-G3, Mr. Prospector H.-G3, and Hollywood Turf Express H.-G3. He was injured during the 2005 Commonwealth Breeders’ Cup H.-G2, and retires from racing with a record of 19-7-3-0 and $1,115,900.
